I bought this back in December of final year. It was working awesome! I could not smell any odors from the dog or from the kitchen. But inside the last 2 months, it stopped operating. I was shocked! I thought if I clean out the filters like they recommend, it may well solve the problem, but it didn't. Soon after realizing that the unit is in fact not working even the slightest bit, I known as the manufacturer, TherapureAir, about the 1 year warranty.
I have seen some bad warranties, but they positive best the list of them! Initial, they told me to pay to ship the unit back to them, and then they informed me that on best of that, I would have to spend $30 to them, to have a new unit shipped to me. When I asked why I would be paying $30, they stated that I have to cover the "processing fee plus their personal shipping and handling."
I was angered and told the guy that if I am shelling out close to $50 for a new unit that could break down once again immediately after only 6 months of use, then I mine as properly purchase a new and completely different brand unit.
So I thought the cash that I would have to shell out for a new unit was negative...but it got worse!
Just after complaining and telling the guy how it worked terrific for the first 6 months and then just stopped operating, he then confessed that most of their units tend to do that. He said they function 100% for the initially couple of months when you get them, but then afterwards, tend to only perform about 40-60%. THIS GUY Generally Mentioned THEIR UNITS Do not Operate FOR A Long TIME AND THAT THEIR Merchandise ARE NOT ALL THEY ARE CLAIMING TO BE.
Needless to say, I was outraged and am taking the time to write this evaluation so NO A single wastes their tough earned income on this piece of junk that the manufacturer even admitted to not operating 100% following only a few months.

I started a new job in the fall of 2008 at a wellness clinic. I am in no way sick, but just after starting the job I was sick for 4 months straight. Countless of the persons working right here were sick regularly. We had tests done and located that the mold count was off the charts... It also didn't aid that most of the people we see are sick. My agency was type enough to acquire us one particular of these units for our workplace. We're sure to maintain it by cleaning the filters as instructed every single month.
